Story….In the jungles of Bhutan in the 1930s, Newt Scamander helps a qilin, a magical creature that can see into one’s soul as well as the future, give birth. Gellert Grindelwald’s disciples, led by Credence Barebone, attack, kill the mother, and kidnap the newborn, who Grindelwald kills to harness its ability of precognition. Unbeknownst to them, the qilin has birthed twins, the younger of which Newt is able to save.Unable to fight Grindelwald due to a blood pact, Dumbledore recruits Newt, his brother Theseus, American mage Lally Hicks, Senegalese-French mage Yusuf Kama, and American No-Maj Jacob Kowalski to thwart Grindelwald’s plan for world domination.

Yusuf Kama is planted as a spy in Grindelwald’s inner circle while the rest of the group is sent to Berlin, Germany. There, the group witnesses how Grindelwald is acquitted of all charges by the International Federation of Wizards, subsequently running for office as its Supreme Head. Grindelwald’s disciples, who have undermined the German ministry of magic, arrest Theseus and plan to assassinate Grindelwald’s competitors. Source
